For me, the act of creating art is not just a process, it is a conversation — a discussion, a heart-to-heart between the materials that I work with and what I am feeling. I use line, color and composition to channel love, loss and connection, hopefully transforming deeply personal events and moments into something universal. I work by instinct — letting go of expectations so the fabric, paint and thread can lead me to a work of art that just might transform my viewers’ own personal experiences as well.
